Introduction

IGB is best-known for the high degree of flexibility it offers users to change IGB behavior. For example, you can set up keyboard shortcuts that control a variety of different IGB functions. Also, IGB is very good at remembering previous settings from session to session. For example, when you re-launch IGB, it will remember the genome you were looking at previously.

This page and its child pages will describe the Preferences, how users can export and import Preferences, and will link to the larger topic of configuring tracks and configuring data sources.
