Introduction

IGB tabbed panels provide an easy-to-use way to access multiple functions. Each tab contains information and/or functions involving loading data, exploring data, working with graphs, etc.

By default, the tabbed panels are part of the IGB main window, but you can also display them in separate windows. You can also change their orientation or location within the main IGB display.

Hide or show tabs

To hide or show tabbed panels

  • Click arrow at left end of bottom tabbed panels
  • Click arrow at top end of side tabbed panels

To show a tabbed panel

  • Click its tab

When you first launch IGB, the Data Access and Current Genome tabbed panels are open by default.

Changing tabbed panel locations

To open all or some tabbed panels in a new window or change their location, select the Tabs menu.
